Bokwa: The Latest Dance Workout To Burn Calories - The Times Of India

What's in the name: Conceptualised by LA-based fitness personality Paul Mavi, this South African aerobic dance activity derives its name from 'Bo' meaning boxing and 'Kwaito', an African word for a style of South African music and dance. Do the Bokwa: The name maybe a mouthful, but the workout is quite easy. Not to be confused with zumba which follows a traditional 8-count step and is a little slower Bokwa doesn't follow any choreography. In fact, it is touted as an alternative to zumba, mainly Max Workouts video for those with two left feet. All you need to do is draw English-language letters and numbers with your feet while performing an energising cardio workout routine. For instance, draw an L, K, J or get your body to move like the number 3. Interestingly, due to its nature, this dance routine can be followed by people of all age groups. You can go all out and jazz it up with extra shimmies, hip bumps, or other freestyle moves. This simple, basic and sassy dance routine is more fun when you do it with your partner or with a group of people.

Large_ninersnation The first players are in town and ready to get started. The first three days involve registration, meetings, medical examinations and various measurements. It is not until Day 4 of each session that reference we get to see the on-field workout workouts (except special teams players, who are Day 3 of their visit). The on-field workouts include the well known 40-yard dash, the 3-cone drill, the broad jump, the vertical jump, the bench press and the shuttle run. Then, there are the individual skill workouts . Those are split up by position. With these, we see things like the quarterback throwing the passing tree, and the wide receiver running the gauntlet. Offensive linemen get to go through the kick-slide drill, while defensive linemen show off their rip and swim moves.
